Falcons Flyball Team

Coronavirus update. Following government and kennel club advice, all NDTC flyball is now suspended until further notice.

The club formed their own flyball team in 2006, called the Northants Falcons. Flyball training is carried out separate to the main obedience club with sessions currently being held on Tuesday evenings during the summer at Cogenhoe & Whiston Village hall, Brafield road, Cogenhoe, Northampton, NN7 1NB and during the day on specified weekends during the winter months at Low Farm, Easton Maudit, Bozeat NN29 7NP.

We are small friendly team with a large personality. Our members have been involved with flyball for a very long time, working with various breeds of dog such as Siberian Husky, Jack Russell, Whippet, Collies and Belgium Shepherd’s and most certainly with different temperaments. In previous years our members have been to Crufts in both senior and junior teams. Click on this link to see photos of the Falcons dogs.

We are a competitive team competing at many tournaments travelling anywhere between the North and South area. Our fastest time with Falcons is 17.24.

We train in different teams depending on your dog’s ability, starting in a beginners team then working your way up to be a competition dog.

Northants Falcons expect all handlers to bring poo bags and clean up after their dogs and also supply water at all times.

If you are interested in finding out more about the team contact us via email  or contact us on 07809231986 or alternately turn up at one of training sessions to talk to any of the team.
